I've been using this for a while now and at first it was great but now it seems like there's no point using it as my hair is way too thick.
The smell is unusual as it has a mild fruity smell which I've never smelt before.
Advertised on the tub:
- Adds texture and definition
- Ideal to create and sculpt any choppy style.
- Leaves a matt finish
- Washes out extremely easy.
It does add texture and like I said the product is very much suited to people with lighter/softer hair and it does allow you create pretty much any ‘choppy style’ as long as your hair is short. Long hair + this product = bad, unless you use a good hairspray.
‘Leaves a matt finish’ - This is one of my favourite features. If you use the clay sparingly then indeed your hair will look rather like... well.. hair. Not wet hair or obviously hair covered in product.
However if you use a rather large amount; perhaps because you have longer hair or want to create a more extreme style; the hair may begin to look slightly glossy.
It is very easy to wash out with shampoo however if you don’t like using shampoo/conditioner everyday then it does tend to stay in your hair if it’s thick like mine.
My only complaint with this product is that it doesn’t create an indestructible style as it claims and regular use of this clay will mean you will have to wash your hair everyday.
Overall, if you’re willing to overlook these small complaints for what is an effective but nethertheless slightly expensive hair product. If you're after a matted, slightly messy choppy style then I'd certainly recommend this product.
7/10
